Are you eligible for paid training and job placement?
Must be out-of-secondary school―have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Between the ages of 17 and 29
Have barriers to training and employment, such as:
– Lack post-secondary educational attainment;
– Lack work experiences and/or lack skill-level necessary to secure full-time employment in middle or high-skill IT jobs.
– Must be unemployed or underemployed where access to training, education, and supportive services is essential to acquire the skills necessary for better paying and higher skilled jobs.
– Residing in (or willing to relocate to) Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance, or Valencia County.
*If you do not meet the above eligibility requirements specifically for the TechHire New Mexico program, TechHire will help connect and refer you to additional training funding opportunities, resources, programs, and services within our New Mexico Workforce Connection partner network in the Central Region including the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult and Dislocated Worker Program.
Priority placement for veterans and spouses of certain veterans who meet the program’s eligibility requirements.
